Are you looking for a new Learning Mentor role this September?
Do you enjoy supporting children to reach their full potential, both academically and emotionally?
Are you confident working one-on-one and in small groups ?
If so, this Learning Mentor role could be ideal for you!
As a Learning Mentor, you’ll support children across the school who may be facing challenges with their learning, behaviour, or emotional well-being. Working closely with class teachers, SEN staff, and families, your role will involve 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils stay engaged, build confidence, and develop resilience. This position would suit someone with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, or in a pastoral or behavioural support role.
This inclusive and welcoming primary school in Southwark has a strong focus on supporting the whole child. With a collaborative staff team, strong leadership, and a commitment to well-being, the school provides a positive working environment for both staff and pupils. They value the impact Learning Mentors have in helping every child feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. The school is well-connected by public transport and offers great development opportunities.
