The Role

For this Food Technology Teacher post you must ideally have experience teaching students with special needs or on the other hand have a passion to take a step into an SEN School. You must have experience teaching up to KS5 as this role will be teaching Food Tech throughout the school from KS3-KS5. You will have additional classroom support from teaching assistants and a food technician however to be successful in this Food Technology Teacher role you must have strong behaviour management skills as well as be very creative in your teaching and planning.

The School

Found in the leafy outer London Borough of Bromley, this Secondary SEN School caters for students with varied needs including SpLD, ASD an SEMH. The School currently have over 150 students on roll and cater from KS3 up to KS5. Class sizes are of around 6-10 students and the School’s curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of their students and to prepare them for the world and life beyond school.
