The Role

For this Food Technology Teacher role, you will be delivering engaging and practical lessons to students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs. You’ll be expected to plan and deliver lessons that cover nutrition, food hygiene, and cooking skills, while adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs. You will work both in and out of the classroom, supporting students with their academic progress and emotional development. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport are essential.

This PRU caters to students who have struggled in mainstream education due to behavioural or emotional challenges.
