The Role

This Mainstream School is looking for a new School Finance Manager to join their team with an immediate effect. Your prime responsibilities will be providing an efficient and accurate finance and accounting service to the school, as well as supporting the Business Manager with budget management & reporting, data analysis, payroll administration, submission of returns and reconciliations. The ideal School Finance Manager for this role will need to have had previous Finance experience, this does not necessarily need to be within a school office.

Skills and Qualifications:

– Educated to degree level or considerable relevant experience

– At least three years’ experience in financial management

– Qualification in Finance Management/ accountancy (Desirable)

– Recognized financial management/business degree or equivalent related professional qualification

– Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
