The Role

Qualiteach are looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced BSL Teaching Assistant for a specialist deaf school based in Camden. As a BSL TA, you will support students across EYFS to KS4 who are deaf or hearing-impaired, helping to facilitate communication and learning. You must be fluent in British Sign Language and confident in assisting both in-class and during 1:1 sessions. Previous experience in a deaf school or working with hearing-impaired pupils is highly desirable.

This is a specialist Deaf School located in the heart of Camden, easily accessible via public transport. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and caters for students aged 4–16 with varying degrees of hearing loss. The team is highly supportive, with a strong focus on inclusive learning and communication development.
