The Role

In this role, you will support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. A key part of the position is working closely with children with ASD and other special educational needs, helping them to access learning and feel confident in school.

You will help pupils stay focused, understand their work, and manage their emotions throughout the day. This may include adapting activities, providing reassurance, and using clear routines and structure. You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils receive the right support to help them make progress both academically and socially.

This role would suit someone patient, calm, and caring, who is committed to making a positive difference in children’s daily school experience.
