The Role 

The role of the KS1 Teaching Assistant is for a highly experienced, engaging, and proactive support assistant with extensive experience working in a primary school in either year 1 or year 2. The role of the KS1 Teaching Assistant is for a long-term, full-time contract until the end of the academic year (at the minimum). The role of the KS1 Teaching Assistant is to work with a year 1 girl with ASD on a 1:1 basis and help encourage their participation in classroom activities as well as support their academic development.

 

The School 

The school is in the London Borough of Newham, near to Canning Town and is a form entry 2 primary school catering for approx. 430 students aged 4-11 years old. The school is an “Outstanding” rated facility by Ofsted and is accessible via local transport links.
