The Role

 

I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school based in Newham who are looking for a sports teaching assistant in September 2025. The school are looking for a candidate who has a relevant sports degree and previous coaching experience. The school are looking for a sport graduate teaching assistant to set up lessons and help with classroom management throughout the academic year. The successful candidate will ideally be willing to go the extra mile and help run extra-curricular activities and sports teams including football and netball.

This secondary school based in the London borough of Newham cater to students aged 11 to 16 with a small number of students enrolled. The school is based just a two-minute walk from the nearest DLR station which is easily accessible. With just 260 students attending, this school is focused on growth and the success at GCSE for all students ensuring that they have the foundations for a successful career ahead. With smaller class sizes there is also a focus on the relationships built with pupils ensuring achievement is at best interest for pupils.
